Kumensia: Righteous Crusader

Kumensia Lunadriel, elven High Paladin of Lothos and White Warden, doing what she does best: engaging in a solo boss-fight against a great evil--in this case, a death knight of Vertax. When rushing into combat, Kumensia usually falls into a great zealous frenzy, and the more passion and emotional fury she feels, the more potent her holy magic (which can be seen in the pale shimmer around her form.) When facing down a foe, she is single-mindedly determined, even when she receives grievous mortal injuries and taxes herself to exhaustion.


This render was -fun- to do. It's been a while since I've really tackled a very intricate scene like this, and I'm eager to do more. Even though I really should focus on my paintings...

Rendered in Poser Pro 2010 (as usual, if you want to know any of the content I used just ask), Postworked in Photoshop CS5 (things like hair painting, color adjustments, magic effects). Around 5 or so hours in all of work, minus actual render time.
